scrapbook

3 more days... and i'll buy myself a scrapbook! the scratchy kind. something not beautiful so it would not intimidate me as i start doodling my "dream-plan". my all sorts of wishlists and fantasies and lists will be featured in that scratchy kind of scrapbook. i will take it as a guide and an organizer. a partner. lol! (kidding with the last part, but thinking of changing my mind)

it was MARY who gave me that scrapbook-idea. she told me that for dreams to be always remembered and be realized, you have to write them as this will help our conscious mind in our everyday doing. when we just put things in our head, there is tht tendency of putting off, and/or forgetting them, or worse, when we lose the guts and the determination in doing that dream.

im sure you guys have lots and lots of dreams. we all do. and as for me these dreams are to be scrapped-out soon:

1. ride hot air balloon!
2. study photography
3. be good at website designing
4. be a good cook like DAD
5. to have a scuba diver's license
6. work in ABSCBN
7. to earn money from a job that i am passionate about
8. i want to meet the Dalai Lama and Paulo Coelho
9. study mandarin (and hopefully be good at it), and basic nihonggo (to help me get by when i'll go to Japan)
10. travel around asia two or three years from now.
11. i also want to experience riding a camel and an elephant. (camel – Dubai (?): elephant – Thailand (im certain they have elephants in Thailand coz my cousin was able to ride one during her visit in Bangkok)
12. learn how to speak French
13. travel around Europe
14. my broadway dream. lol
15. go to Africa and explore their savannas, rainforests... that jungle type of adventure.
16. travel the world, and especially to places only few have gone to.
17. make the Philippines a first world country. (how do i do this? help me with this one, dear friends. of course, there's Clang-Clang the future President. wheeeh!)
18. get married and have a family! :D
19. because i learned how to cook, i will always feed my husband and our future children delicious meals.
20. to be an open minded kind of mother, helping my kids have a mind of their own.
21. to have a garden. it will be the most beautiful garden with a lovely pond with lillies growing and ducks swimming. i will be greeted with birds chirping as the sun rises and a beautiful sunset as the day ends.
22. to have a foundation for the abused women and children; or to be active in a foundation for women and children. any will do. it will all depend on what my resources will be.

...those are just a few of my probable list. and quite impossible too. lol.

as per Paulo Coelho, "it's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting."

as per jopet allego, "every day is dream come true, and thats what makes life interesting."

congested

...blogging in melancholic air.

i don't understand why i can't write my thoughts if i am happy. a happy thought would have been a better blog entry than a depressing one. i don't understand either why i am more comfortable writing if i am in low spirit. spreading negative vibes isn't exactly what i wanted to do in the blogging world. lol

doctor's advice: have a normal bowel movement to avoid constipation. excreting waste is good for the body.

...this might be the same with the SPIRIT.

what do you do ba when your depress?

coz i think i am and i don't know how to have a full recovery. heheh!

jinx

right after Easter Sunday and four days before Friday the 13th, bad lucks are mounting up from the moment i woke up until midnight.

jinx jinx jinx and junk. shoooo!

i was suppose to leave Tuburan Monday at 9 in the morning, but woke up 15 minutes before 9 reading a text from WAH saying tha she's still in the clinic and might take some time...so the sleepy head that i was thinking that i badly need more sleep dozed off... only to be awaken an hour and half later by wah bringing in the news that she won't be going with me. :( my first of bad luck. bummer. so in the rescue, was Toni. she was probably on the run already, but Ma suggested that we should ride my cousin's v-hire. its much more comfortable and she'll have a peace of mind knowing that i won't be going with them. fine! we can wait for another hour. and come 12 noon... no sign... until 3pm-ish...

second of bad luck... just when i thought i can sleep for the entire duration of the ride, we had a flat tire... but fixed it for 15 minutes or so... another 15 minutes, and another flat tire. my third of bad luck, and this time passengers are complaining. some still have to go to work... and who knows of what people do after easter sunday from a long weekend only to be stranded in the middle of nowhere. good thing, there was another empty v-hire.

but after 30 minutes or so... the van's propeller was stuck or was it broken?... lol! and reporting live at the top of the mountain of the grand central highway. can Mr. Driver fix it? will we be rescued? i still have a hopeful case. at this point of course, i already gave up the thought of sleeping. :p

i tried to enjoy the view, Toni was suggesting that we will just have a photoshoot to kill the time... but because i was so much in-luck, my camera phone was out of batt. 5 minutes and more complains later, another v-hire came to the rescue... the vhire looked great and jinx-free, but still i told toni that if we'll be stranded again we'll walk then ride a taxi. hahahahah!

my hopeful case was true to the end, though... we arrived in the city safe and sound! wheeee! and yes, the last vhire was indeed jinx-free.

btw, i did not go with my parents' because Dann organized a-get-together with highschool friends and stuff... the reason why i really had to be back in the city early. but with the so much, err, luck that i had, i arrived 6pm-ish. ate dinner, showered, then head off to BTC.

just when things came in great, and only a few minutes before midnight... another luck came in, i had my period. lol! not just that, i was wearing a tight white pants. see? Lady Luck must really hate me. lol! and with a little thing from jeanne, some props... i had a great time and savored the long conversation with my bestfriend.
.
.
. . .despite my energy level of luck, im glad i was with the people who would just laugh it all out. no matter what tragedies or misfortunes i brought in, the comforting amount of laughter keeps one sane or insane. (depending on how you look at it)

don't you just love to laugh? and don't just super love it when your sharing that laughter with the best people in the world? bad luck, good luck, whatever...

hear ye!

"Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people I know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives." - mary schmich

not that i don't know what i want, but in taking that initial step in doing is the hardest part. i have so many dreams to begin with. so would that mean that i don't really know what i want to do with my life? and therefore, i am interesting? lol

whatever.

"it feels good to say that im still 21."
